Hydrating Your Skin
A step-by-step guide to building an effective daily routine using targeted ingredients and proven science.
When it comes to anti-aging skincare, consistency and ingredient quality matter more than expensive routines or overwhelming 10-step regimens. This guide walks you through a simple yet powerful routine that delivers visible results over time using our science-backed products.
Whether you’re just starting or refining your regimen, this guide is for you.

Step 1: Cleanse (AM + PM)
Cleansing removes dirt, excess oil, makeup, and environmental toxins that build up throughout the day.
What to do:
- Use a gentle, sulfate-free cleanser suited to your skin type.
- Avoid harsh scrubs—aging skin needs gentle exfoliation.
- Pat dry with a soft towel. Don’t rub!
PRO TIP : A morning cleanse removes nighttime buildup, while an evening cleanse clears pollutants and product residue.
Step 2: Apply Targeted Serums (AM or PM)
This is where real anti-aging power lies. Serums deliver concentrated active ingredients that address specific concerns like wrinkles, texture, or dullness.
Key ingredients to look for:
- Peptides: Promote collagen production and skin repair.
- Niacinamide: Supports skin barrier and evens tone.
- Growth Factors: Encourage cellular turnover and regeneration.
- Vitamin C (AM): Brightens skin and protects against free radicals.
- Retinol (PM): A gold-standard anti-aging ingredient for fine lines and pigmentation.
PRO TIP : Use no more than 2 serums at once to avoid irritation. Apply from thinnest to thickest in texture.
Step 3: Moisturize (AM + PM)
Hydration plumps up skin, reduces the look of fine lines, and keeps your barrier intact—especially important as we age
What to do:
- Use a moisturizer rich in hyaluronic acid, ceramides, or panthenol.
- In the daytime, go lighter. At night, choose a richer texture for repair while you sleep.
PRO TIP : Use no more than 2 serums at once to avoid irritation. Apply from thinnest to thickest in texture.
Step 4: Protect (AM Only)
UV damage is the #1 cause of premature aging. If you do nothing else—use sunscreen.
What to do:
- Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen every morning, even if you’re indoors or it's cloudy.
- Don’t forget areas like your neck, hands, and under the eyes.
PRO TIP : Look for sunscreens with added antioxidants like Vitamin E or green tea for added protection.
Step 5: Weekly Extras
- Use a gentle AHA/BHA exfoliant to remove dead skin cells and boost glow.
- Masks (1–2x per week): Hydrating or firming masks can supercharge your routine.
